Cashmere hats

Unisex cashmere hats: warmth, softness and style

Discover our collection of Mahogany unisex cashmere hats, designed for women and men alike during the colder months. Soft, warm and easy to wear, our hats come in a range of weights, knits and colours to suit every style.

Plain or two-tone cashmere hats, ribbed, cable-knit or more understated: each style combines the comfort of a beautiful natural fibre with timeless design. Unisex accessories to wear from the first chill through to the end of winter.

The cashmere hat, an essential for women and men

Essential when temperatures fall, a cashmere hat protects your head from the cold while adding an elegant finishing touch to your outfit. Its softness is especially welcome in an accessory worn directly against the skin.

With their understated, versatile shapes, our cashmere hats for men and women fit effortlessly into any wardrobe. Paired with a classic coat, a padded jacket or chunky knitwear, they complement both city outfits and more relaxed looks.

Because they are unisex, you can choose your hat according to what appeals to you most: its shape, weight, knit and colour.

Different styles of cashmere hats

Our collection of cashmere hats offers a range of styles to suit your preferences. Turn-up hats have a timeless look and let you adjust the height of the hat, while styles without a turn-up appeal for their cleaner silhouette.

Ribbed hats add texture and provide a snug fit, while smooth-knit styles offer a more understated look. Some hats also feature cable knits or marled effects that add a touch of originality.

Cashmere hats in a range of thicknesses

The thickness of a cashmere hat depends in part on the number of plies used in knitting, their thickness and the density of the knit. These characteristics affect the hat’s volume, suppleness and comfort.

A 2-ply cashmere hat generally has a finer, lighter knit, suited to the milder months. 4-ply or 6-ply styles generally have a thicker knit, particularly welcome on cold days.

The ply count alone does not determine thickness or warmth, however: the knitting technique also plays an important part.

Pair your hat with your scarves and gloves

A unisex cashmere hat can be worn on its own or paired with other Mahogany cashmere accessories for a harmonious look.

For an understated, elegant ensemble, choose a hat, a scarf and gloves in the same shade. You can also combine different tones of one colour or, conversely, choose a contrasting hat to make a bolder statement with your outfit.

The many shades available across the range also make it easy to match your hat with your jumper, cardigan or coat.

Unisex hats in a wide palette of colours

Classic shades such as black, grey, navy, ecru and beige transcend the seasons and pair easily with both women’s and men’s wardrobes. Brighter hues, meanwhile, enliven a winter outfit and bring colour to the coldest days.

Plain, two-tone, ribbed, cable-knit, understated or more striking: the hat becomes a style accessory in its own right.

How should you care for your cashmere hat?

To preserve the softness and shape of your cashmere hat, proper care is essential. Cashmere does not necessarily need washing after every wear: you can simply air your hat between wears.

When washing is necessary, opt for hand washing in cold water with a detergent suitable for delicate fibres, provided the care label allows it. Avoid rubbing or twisting the knit to prevent the fibres from losing their shape.

After washing, gently remove excess water with a towel, then lay your hat flat to dry, away from sources of heat. Once dry, store it folded in a dry place.
