How do you care for your V-neck cashmere jumper?

Contrary to popular belief, cashmere responds well to water. Regular, appropriate care helps preserve the softness, suppleness and shape of your V-neck cashmere jumper season after season.

For washing, choose a wool or delicate cycle at no more than 30°C, using a specialist wool detergent and a gentle spin of no more than 600 rpm. Place your jumper in a laundry bag to reduce friction and protect the knit.

After washing, gently reshape your jumper, paying particular attention to the V-neck, sleeves and cuffs. Leave it to dry flat, away from heat and direct sunlight. Once dry, store it folded rather than on a hanger to avoid stretching the shoulders out of shape.
