Behind the scenes of the cashmere cardigan: the raw material.

From the selection of the goats to delivery, including the manufacturing process: we place quality at every stage.
The finest cashmere comes from herds located in Mongolia and Inner Mongolia, the Chinese province. Braving the extreme cold of these regions, the goats produce a down that is harvested in spring.
To achieve this unrivalled softness, we select only the highest quality down. We use only the longest and finest yarns for our women's cashmere gilet collection and all our other collections.
A true mark of quality: sorting for the whitest fibres avoids the need for bleaching.

Our women's cashmere gilets are made in Nepal by our partner, who has been with us since the very beginning of our adventure. This family business won us over not only with its expertise in working with cashmere, but also with its deep commitment to the well-being of its teams and their families. Indeed, Mahogany places particular importance on human relationships, both within its own team and with its partners.
In our Nepalese workshops, artisanal technical mastery and advanced technology work side by side to produce the finest cashmere. Each women's cashmere gilet, like every other piece, is individually knitted by machine.
