Our Nuage cashmere is worked from a yarn thicker than traditional cashmere. It produces a more voluminous and fluffier knit, whilst retaining a surprisingly airy quality. For an equal number of plies, it thus offers greater thickness than a classic cashmere.
Knitted here in 16-ply, it gives the STENDHAL an exceptionally generous, soft and enveloping knit.
The horizontal knitting construction is the other signature of this style. The sleeves are integrated into the continuation of the body to create the batwing volume and this characteristic relaxed line.
This work requires great mastery in order to preserve the balance of the piece despite the richness of the knit and to ensure a harmonious drape.
