A year-round essential

The TYRA was conceived as a true everyday essential. Its fitted cut accompanies the silhouette without weighing it down and showcases the fineness of the knit.

Worn over a T-shirt on warmer days, over a shirt for a more dressed look, or under a jacket when temperatures drop, it adapts naturally to the seasons and occasions.

The 5 cm 1x1 ribs at the cuffs and hem add structure to the silhouette and create a beautiful contrast with the fineness of the 2-ply cashmere.

With jeans, a skirt or tailored trousers, the TYRA lends itself effortlessly to numerous combinations.

The craft

The 2-ply cashmere offers a particularly sought-after balance between fineness, softness and lightness. This construction produces a supple and comfortable knit, easy to wear alone or layered.

On the TYRA, the wide 5 cm 1x1 ribs structure this fine knit at the cuffs and hem. They provide support and contribute fully to the fitted silhouette of the style.

The First collection

The TYRA belongs to our First collection, a selection of styles crafted in limited editions from surplus new cashmere yarns, carefully selected from specialist spinners.

These small quantities, poorly suited to large-scale industrial production, are perfectly in keeping with our expertise in small-batch production.

We are thus able to give new purpose to existing yarns that might otherwise have gone unused, transforming them in our workshop in Nepal according to the same exacting standards of construction, finishing and quality control as the rest of our collections.

This approach also allows us to offer cashmere pieces at particularly considered prices.

This is what we at Mahogany call premium recycling: not making something new from something old, but creating something new from new materials already available.

Limited edition

The availability of the TYRA depends directly on the limited quantities of yarn selected for its production.

The style is therefore offered in limited stock and may not necessarily be reproduced once the available materials are exhausted.
